Improve health and quality of life is the goal of the Roche Institute for Health Solutions. From this institution wants to bring individualized medicine to the whole society and make their service all the advances in genetics, genomics and proteomics.

This is a great bet for the future of the Roche Institute to achieve this goal and have set the following lines:

- Make available to all persons the benefits of individualized medicine based on advances in genetics, genomics and proteomics.

- Contribute to improving the welfare of society through the care of their health. This will seek to verify the genetic predisposition to suffer from certain diseases, and monitoring of asymptomatic people. They will also be crucial for prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of various diseases.

- Support access to information about treatments and services in the health field.

- Promote research in Genetics, Genomics and Proteomics involved in health and dissemination of results.

- Promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the health area.

- Encourage the formation, participation and consensus of all stakeholders in the health of citizens.

To achieve these objectives, the Roche Institute for Health Solutions builds with all the various activities that benefit from this new way of health. The citizens themselves, healthcare professionals, universities, research centers and health authorities and political actors are needed to disseminate this new concept.
